I have been loyally using my old friend a 1962 Cub Cadet (7 hp) tractor mower. This guy is made of cast iron everything, except the mower deck. It is almost beyond repair, it has 2 blades with the notch type belt to keep the blades in sync. The spindles and belt hubs are beyond repair. If I could find another in better shape or if someone could tell me if another better design deck will fit the tractor. I can have modifications done if needed to make something else fit. I just don't know if it can be done. I have no other use for this old guy and would hate to put it to rest.

Tom, probably can help you. where are you located? there are no replacements of that deck that I know of. Only complete tractors with decks. as with all old sometimes we have to let go. give me some info though and maybe I can help you. ....

please don't give up on an old friend.
i also have one of these decks and the parts are available from any old time cub dealer. the spindles each use 2 standard bearings available anywhere and the cog pulleys should set you back around $50-60 each. ....
